Thabisile has a career spanning two decades in the public and private sector specializing in corporate communications, social development, media relations, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development and training. She has served in various roles in communications and public relations at Anglo American Platinum, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, University of South Africa, Centre for Public Relations and Communications and the Commission for Gender Equality.
She holds qualifications in Corporate Communications, Public Relations Management, Project Management, Social Development and Leadership. She is the former President of the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa and has also worked as a part-time lecturer and trainer in Public Relations and Social Development.
She has interfaced with a variety of organisations on integration of socio-economic imperatives into business strategy and facilitated skills enhancement programmes through presentations at conferences and in-house training programmes. She is currently the Senior Vice President and Head of Stakeholder Relations at Sibanye- Stillwater.
Thabisile is a vision bearer of a women`s network, Inspired Connect and has authored 3 skills-based booklets for women.
